This cosy room in the oldest part of the hotel boasts a generous bathroom, the only one with a walk in shower in this part of the building. Looking out over a living roof towards copper shingles and village roofs beyond.

If you like a big bathroom with a fabulous copper bath, this is the room for you. With views towards the village church, you will certainly want to linger a while as the afternoon sun streams through the windows.

Bundles of character and thoughtful touches in this room – look out for the intricate paper cut artwork. The warm bathroom with vintage tiles and antique mirrors features a curious arched window into the bedroom.

Expect slightly sloping floors in this room full of character and history. South facing and overlooking the village, it is the perfect spot to observe the comings and goings of local life. The cosy bathroom features a luxurious deep copper bath.

This room is designed for relaxing. Be it on the generous window seat to watch all of village life or soaking in a glorious long and deep bath. This sunshine room is our largest and lightest.

Featuring a balcony, accessed through French windows, this room overlooks the garden. A perfect place to enjoy your welcome cup of tea, people watch and catch snippets of local gossip. Close the doors and enjoy a wonderfully private space.

The built in sofa big enough to sleep two little ones belies the romance of the room in the eaves up the small staircase. Chandeliers, an old dentist’s chair and a wardrobe to Narnia are just some of the quirky detailing in this suite of rooms.

Our lodge with a mezzanine floor, ideal for relaxing with a game or spinning a disc on the record player. The completely private patio has a built-in wood burner, perfect for snuggling up in front of, surrounded by the vegetation of the garden. The bathroom has both shower and bath.

Are you in or are you out? The sign over the bed will dictate as you wonder at the work of the artist who hand-painted all the ‘Pretty’ words in the towering ceiling. Snuggle up on the sofa, resting your drinks on the antique dentist’s spittoon – just one of the quirky pleasures of The Bell. Choose between a shower or a bath.
